Why Anomaly Partnered With Guide

Anomaly Group was asked in February to investigate the fever temperature scanning market by a FTSE 100 client.

The fundamental issue was the accuracy of the technology.  Many tech companies launched fever scanning technology in the UK, but none addressed the accuracy issues that stem from having to rely solely on a basic skin temperature reading.

Widening their search Anomaly Group found one company, Guide Infrared, which used Artificial Intelligence to map an individual’s skin temperature to their core temperature, the reliable indicator as to whether an individual temperature has a fever. This advanced technology was game changing, setting the accuracy of Guide’s system apart from all other manufacturers. It is little surprise Guide’s products dominate South East Asia, the most developed market for fever screening, where they have sold over 30,000 systems.

Anomaly Group have now partnered with Guide and are distributing their fever scanning technology to the UK.  Phil Austin, Anomaly Group’s CEO, said “our clients have been amazed by the accuracy of the Guide system. In this world the accuracy of a system could save someone’s life; choosing to partner with Guide in the UK was an easy choice as they are technically way ahead of the competition”.
